Puppet Pandemonium

Duration: 1 hour (50 minute show + 10 minute Q&A)

Kay Yasugi from Pupperoos brings along her puppet friends for an exciting show and tell! Each of Kay’s puppets has a story to tell and they need your help! An interactive show from start to finish with a cheeky monkey, shy raccoon, hungry caterpillar and delightful shadow stories!

Kay brings her wealth of knowledge about puppetry and her experience from working on ‘The 13-Storey Treehouse’ at the Sydney Opera House in this unique show for all to enjoy.

This show has been performed in both indoor and outdoor (covered) venues in Sydney/NSW including:

  • Powerhouse Discovery Centre (Castle Hill)
  • Early Start Discovery Space (Wollongong)
  • ImaginArta Australian Puppet Centre (Sutton Forest)
  • Randwick Puppet Festival 
  • Fun4Kids Festival at Dirrabari Reserve, Pemulwuy, Western Sydney
  • Lunar New Year Festival, Auburn

Space and Tech Requirements

The show will require:

  • a space of at least 2m x 2m
  • access to a powerpoint (for an overhead projector)
  • a wall or screen for shadow puppetry (we can bring a screen if needed)
  • if outdoors, the area needs to be covered(e.g. outdoor stage, gazebo, awning)

If possible, Pupperoos requests access to a speaker and headset microphone for the day (we can provide this if needed).
