“The road of life twists and turns, and no two directions are ever the same, yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination” – Don Williams Jr. Pappy (a.k.a. Stephanie Papapavlou) and Pupperoos (a.k.a. Kay Yasugi) are teaming up to provide a night of entertainment in pappetry (that is, puppetry and music). On Thursday 16th December at 7pm at Manly Village Church (West Promenade, Manly, Sydney) come along to see some of Pappy’s never heard before original songs intertwined with Kay’s creative interpretation of a little known fable, each bringing the other to life, each giving reflection on life. Tickets are available at the door, entry is $10 Pappy’s EP ‘Treasure’ will be on sale for $10 Kay’s illustrated poetry book ‘A Shade of Blue’ will be on sale for $15 Part of the proceeds from the door and Kay’s poetry book will go toward the Cambodia Kids Project run by Globalteer, where Kay will be travelling next year helping kids build and star in their own puppet street parade. Feel free to bring friends, neighbours, family or just that guy on the street! We hope to see you there!
