Pupperoos offers workshops for teachers on using puppets effectively in the classroom. The workshops available include the “Creating a Dynamic Literacy Classroom with Puppetry” workshop, which aims to help teachers to explore the many ways that puppetry can be used to stimulate enriched literacy projects and act as a springboard for other engaging learning experiences. Pupperoos has run workshops for educators at events including the Future Directions in Literacy Conference (2009) hosted by Sydney University’s Division of Professional Learning in the Faculty of Education and Social Work, Sydney NSW. In 2008, Pupperoos also ran a workshop on “Creating resource kits for teachers and artists” in London, UK . This was part of the Course in the Art of Puppetry in Education and Therapy, organised by the London School of Puppetry at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, North London.
